Setting Classification Conditions: For String Type (Candidates) Classification by Range
Described below is how to set String type (Candidates) classification by range.
The String Type (Candidates) is the exact value of the String type attribute value with a string (txt, pdf, etc.) which can be a candidate for an application.
Operation
- Select the String type of attributes from the [Attributes] drop-down list in the page displayed by clicking the [Add] button of the [Classification Conditions] page.
- Select classification by range from the [Classification Type] drop-down list.
The [Classification Conditions StringType Classification by Range] page appears.
- Enter the strings for classification by range in the [Starting String (required)].
By specifying the starting string, the strings can be classified by range.
The last character of the string which has been entered as the starting string determines the classification range.
The examples of the classification range and its classification results are shown below.
- All folder names to be classified:
zumen1_a, zumen1_b, zumen1_c, zumen2_a, zumen2_b, zumen2_c, zumen3, zumen4, zumen5_a
- Starting string:
zumen1
The above conditions leads to the following results.
- Classification range:
from "drawing1" less than "drawing2"
- Classification results:
In the "drawing1" folder: drawing1_a, drawing1_b, drawing1_c
In the "others" folder: drawing2_a, drawing2_b, drawing2_c, drawing3, drawing4, drawing5_a
- Click the [Add] button.
The string in the [Starting String (required)] is displayed in the field for the Classification by Range conditions.
- Repeat step 2 - 4 to add the strings for classification to the Classification by Range conditions as needed.
- Specify the naming rule for the classification folder name to be created. Enter the common word used among the classification folders in the [Naming Rules for Classification Folder].
- Click the [Expand] button.
The classification values are listed depending on the conditions which have been set.
- [No.] indicates the order of the classification conditions value. When changing the order, check the checkbox on the left side of the condition value to be changed, and change the order by using [Up] button and the [Down] button.
- Click the [Ascending] radio button to change the order in ascending. Click the [Descending] radio button to change the order in descending.
- The [Ascending] and [Descending] radio buttons are not displayed.
- Check the checkbox on the left side of the classification conditions value, and click the [Delete] button.
The selected condition values are deleted.
- Click the [Select All] button to select all the condition values.
- Click the [Clear Selections] button to select all the condition values.
- When changing the classification view which has been created, the name of the classification folder to be created can be changed. Enter the classification folder name in the [Folder Name] of the list.
- When classifying the objects with the condition values which may not be classified to any classification folders, select the [Create] radio button of [Other Folder (required)].
- When classifying the objects with the value which is not set to the specified attribute, select the [Create] radio button of [No Value Folder (required)].
- Click the [Apply] button.
The settings are saved, and the [Classification Conditions] page appears.
