View Application is the application used to view images in the Web browser. View Application displays the contents of a document by converting them to images suitable for viewing or printing. This allows you to check in the Web browser, etc., the contents of documents in various formats controlled by Document Management Service even if a client machine does not have an application for viewing the document directly.
The administrator of View Application sets the types of conversion to be performed.
The image conversion is performed by File Format Conversion Service.
