[Access Permissions] checkbox |
Specify the access permissions for document type attribute. Only when [Permissions] is [Custom], the user can set any access permission. When [Permissions] is other than [Custom], the access permissions are as follows.
- [Read-only]
[Content] can only be obtained, viewed, or printed.
- [Writable], [Mandatory]
[Attribute] can be edited.
[Content] can be obtained, set, viewed, or printed.
[Entry] can be added or deleted.
When a Workflow is started from DocumentSpace or CollaboSpace, the document is copied to the primary document field. This means that you cannot select the [Read-only] permission for the document type attribute of the start form, because the permission does not include the "Add Entry Permission". In this case, if you select the [Custom] permission, the Add Entry Permission is always enabled. The following types of access permissions can be specified for the fields of document type.
- Attribute Settings: Allows you to set the attributes for the document.
- Obtain Content: Allows you to obtain the document contents
- Set Content: Allows you to set the document contents
- View Content: Allows you to view the content of the document via the viewer.
- Print Content: Allows you to print the document contents
- Add Entry: Allows you to add a new entry under the folder.
- Delete Entry: Allows you to delete objects under the folder.
When [Read-only] is specified as the access permission to a document type field, the access permissions of Obtain Content, View Content, and Print Content are also granted. When [Writable] or [Mandatory] is specified, all access permissions are granted. When [Custom] is specified, you can specify any combination of access permissions in detail. |
[Lock] |
This item can be set only in the start form (the form for the start point of the Workflow).
Specify whether or not the document field is to checkout or lock the target document at the start. When the document field is specified to checkout or lock the document, this field is processed as follows: |
When [Lock] is specified |
When a document in DocumentSpace is specified to be stored in this field, as the startup parameter, the document will be locked and copied under the authority of the user that started the Workflow. The permissions to add or delete entries to/from this document field will be suspended until unlock is performed. |
When [Check out] is specified |
When a document in DocumentSpace is specified to be stored in this field, as the startup parameter, the document will be checked out and copied under the authority of the user that started the Workflow. The permissions to add or delete entries to/from this document field will be suspended until unlock is performed. |
[Apply] button |
Clicking saves the settings of the field definition. |
