Descriptions of the [Attribute Details] Area

The [Attribute Details] area allows you to edit the attributes displayed in the [User-defined Attributes] area.

The following explains each item in the [Attribute Details] area.

Item Description
[Attribute Value] Enter the attribute name using 50 characters or less.
  • Line breaks will be ignored
  • The name cannot be composed of blanks only.
  • The following characters cannot be used:
    : , $ { } [ ] @
[Source] When a user-defined attribute is created from a system attribute, the system attribute that is referred to is displayed. When the attribute referred to is a system attribute of a Workflow definition or workprocess, ": Attribute Name" is displayed. When the attribute referred to is a system attribute of an activity, "Activity Name: System Attribute Name" is displayed.
[Data Type] Displays the attribute type.
[Mode] Displays [Single-value] or [Multi-value].
[Description] Enter the descriptions of the attribute using 500 characters or less.
[View format] drop-down list Select the view format of the attribute. The available view formats vary depending on the data type of the attribute.
[Enumeration] (for string data type) Displays enumeration values.
[Regular Expr] (for string data type) Displays the strings allowed to be entered in regular expression.
[Characters] (for string data type) Displays the range of the number of characters.
[Range] (for integer or floating-point data type) Displays the range of the value as the following items: minimum value, minimum value criteria (less than, less than or equal to), maximum value, and maximum value criteria (greater than, greater than or equal to).
Displays the expression to be evaluated.
Enter the expression to be evaluated.
[Expression] (for embedded string data type) Displays the expression to be evaluated.

[Elements] (for multi-value data type) Specify the number of elements when the mode is multi-value.
[Operation] [Reset] button
Clicking restores the previous attribute value.
([Create New] icon)
Clicking takes you to the [Create New Attribute] window.
([Copy] icon)
This icon allows you to copy the currently selected attribute to create a new user-defined attribute. Clicking takes you to the [Create New Attribute] window with the selected attribute information set as the initial values.
([Delete] icon)
Clicking deletes the user-defined attributes displayed.
[Apply] button Clicking saves the attribute settings.
