Described below is how to change the settings of a classification view.

Changing the Settings of a Classification View

Operation
  1. In the [List View] area on the right side of the [Documents List] window, click the link to the classification cabinet containing the classification view you want to change.
    The classification drawers in the clicked classification cabinet are listed in the [List View] area.
  2. In the [List View] area, click the link to the classification drawer containing the classification view you want to change.
    The classification views in the clicked classification drawer are listed in the [List View] area.
  3. In the [List View] area, click the link to the classification view you want to change.
    The classification folders in the clicked classification viewer are listed in the [List View] area.
  4. Select [Classification] - [Change Classification View Settings].
    The [Change Classification View Settings] window appears.
    The [Classification Conditions] page appears in the right frame.
  5. Change the classification conditions by clicking the [Edit Conditions] button.
    The page for setting the classification conditions is displayed by clicking the [Edit Conditions] button.

    You can also add new classification conditions.

  6. When you have finished setting the classification conditions for the selected attribute, click the [Set] button.
    The [Classification Conditions] page appears.
  7. To set the classification conditions for another attribute, repeat step 5.
  8. In the left frame, click the [Classification Conditions] link after you have finished configuring in the [Classification Conditions] page.
    The [Basic Settings] page appears in the right frame.
  9. Change the settings in the [Basic Settings] page as needed.

  10. Click the [Registration Attributes] link after you have finished configuring in the [Basic Settings] page.
    The [Registration Attributes] page appears in the right frame.
  11. In the [Registration Attributes] page, set the attribute value (default value) to be given automatically when registering an object to a classification view or a classification folder as needed.

    The registration attributes can be set only when the object meets all the following conditions.

    • The [Register] radio button of [Registration to Classification View (required)] in the [Basic Settings] page is selected, and [Destination] is set.
    • The classification conditions which can be set with the registration attributes are set in the [Classification Conditions] page.
      Especially, if specifying the cabinet as a classification range, the destination is not set by default. Therefore, the destination needs to be specified obviously. (If any object other than cabinet is specified as the classification range, the destination is the one specified as the default classification range.)

  12. Click the [Setting Information List] link in the left frame to confirm the settings.
    The [Setting Information List] page appears in the right frame.
    The settings made in the [Confirm Classification View Settings Change] page can be confirmed in the [Setting Information List] page.
  13. Click the [Change] button.
    The [Confirm Classification View Settings Change] page appears in the right frame.

    Clicking the [Create] button displays the [Confirm Classification View Creation] page where you can create a new classification view.

  14. Click the [Change] button.
    The classification folders under the classification view are changed based on the settings.

    • When creating classification folders, the number of the classification folders varies depending on the classification view settings. When many classification folders are created, it may take more time.
    • The maximum number of the classification folders which can be generated under the classification view is 100,000.
